The Afghanistan government has set up a medical camp in Torkham town, the primary route used for deportation.

Another center has been established in the Spin Boldak district of Kandahar province for the refugees, Pajhwok reported.

“We want to build temporary camps with all facilities for the returnees until they are cleared and sent to their permanent places.” Khalil-Ul-Rahman Haqqani told Ariana news.

Pakistan deporting Afghans

The Caretaker government in Pakistan gave an ultimatum of October 31 to all undocumented immigrants to leave Pakistan voluntarily.

The decision was blamed on Afghans being involved in terrorist activities inside Pakistan.

Pakistan’s leading newspaper, DAWN, reported that the Pakistani government has initiated a nationwide crackdown after the deadline expired.
