WASHIGNTON, 2 March: US President Joe Biden extended a warm welcome to Italy’s far-right Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on Friday, as they met at the White House to step up the war aid campaign for Ukraine.

“We have each other’s backs and we will stand behind Ukraine,” Biden told Meloni.

Furthermore, Biden stressed that they will also take united stands on foreign policy fronts. “Like you said Georgia when we first met here that we’re going to have each other’s backs”, Biden said to Georgia. “We have each other’s back and this has been proven since the day you took office”.

During the meeting, Biden stressed to pave the way for more aid to Ukraine as Republicans continue to resist.

Meloni said that as a chairwoman of the Group of Seven Nations, she would do everything possible to ensure the success and freedom of Ukraine.

After becoming prime minister in 2022, Meloni has distanced herself from Russian elements.

The Italian Prime Minister recently signed a security agreement with Ukraine to help it build its defense industry.
