Netanyahu rejects Biden Gaza remarks

WASHINGTON, 11 March: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected US President Joe Biden’s approach to the Gaza war, saying that his statement is harming Israel instead of benefiting it and will lead to a conflict between the leaders.

This weekend, Biden called on Netanyahu to pay attention to the loss of innocent lives in Israel’s actions in the Gaza war, as it was against Israeli interests.

In an interview with Politico on Sunday night, Netanyahu said, “If Biden is implying that I will pursue a different policy against the Israeli majority or harm Israeli interests, then he is fundamentally wrong.”

Biden has supported Israel in the five-month Israel-Hamas war, but recently, his differences with Netanyahu came to light, and his interview with MSNBC is a testament to that.

Biden expressed his grave concerns about a possible Israeli attack on Rafah and the current humanitarian situation in Gaza but also said he would not abandon Israel. Israel’s defense is still imperative, so there is no red line.

I will cut off all their weapons supplies so they have no Iron Dome to protect them, Biden said.

After the failure of Netanyahu to release the Israeli prisoners from Hamas, the public reaction against Netanyahu is intensifying in and the demands for new elections are is also emerging from the people.
