MOSCOW: The United Kingdom has sent United Nations the photographs of North Korean shipments to Russia.
The UK has provided satellite photographs of North Korean cargo shipments to Russia to a panel of UN experts and has called for an investigation into arms deals that violate International sanctions.
North Korea has been repeatedly accused of supplying ballistic missiles and hundreds of thousands of artillery shells to Putin during the course of the latter’s war in Ukraine.
The Guardian reported that the UK intelligence agency report shows satellite imagery taken between September and December of three North Korean shipments to the Russian mainland.
The report mentioned that the shipments “undermines international efforts to prevent the spread of nuclear weapons”.
