Russia will launch new offensive in Ukraine as early as May, Zelenskiy says

KYIV, 26 February: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Sunday that Russia will launch a new offensive against Ukraine in May or late summer, but Kiev has its own war plan.

Addressing the second anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on Sunday, Zelenskiy said, it is important for Kiev and the West to remain united and that Ukraine’s victory is depended on Western support.

Speaking about the Ukrainian war intentions, Zelenskiy said that Kiev has a great plan to counter the Russian forces, but he will not disclose it yet.

The Ukrainian leader said Kiev’s counteroffensive plan was on the Kremlin’s table last year before the operation even begun, but did not say how.
President Zelenskiy said that the removal of the military chief is part of his strategy and will remain under wraps.
