Trump says US Democracy will end if he loses election

WASHINGTON, 17 March: Former US President Donald Trump says that if he does not succeed in these elections, it will mean that American democracy has ended.

The Republican presidential candidate addressed supporters in Ohio, claiming that it was part of election fraud to take away the victory from him and give it to President Joe Biden in the 2020 election.

“If I don’t win this election, I don’t think this country will ever see another election,” Trump said.

“If I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the whole country,” Trump said without elaborating on what he meant by bloodshed.

Responding to Trump’s bloodshed statement, Biden campaign spokesman James Singer strongly condemned his extremism, politics of revenge and promotion of political violence.

According to CNN, Singer said that Trump’s “bloodbath” suggests he is in the mood to recreate the January 6 situation.

He further said that the American people will not elect Trump as the president of the US.
