Turkish Airstrikes Kill 58 Kurdish Militants in Syria

The Turkish Air Force has conducted airstrikes in northern Syria, killing 58 Kurdish militants, Reuters reported. The Turkish Defense Ministry said the overnight airstrikes targeted Kurdish militant positions in northern Syria.

Airstrikes Targeted PKK/YPG Terrorists

According to the statement released by the defense ministry, the airstrikes targeted PKK/YPG Terrorists based in Syria.

Both the groups were accused of orchestrating the Ankara bombing that took place a week ago. Turkish jets also bombed northern Syria in response to the bomb explosion a week ago. 

Erdogan vows to eliminate all terrorists

Presi­dent Tay­yip Erdogan recently vowed to eliminate each and every terrorist responsible for shedding innocent blood.

Speaking at his ruling AK Party’s congress, he said “We will implement our strategy of ending terror at its root with determination, and hold the PKK, FETO, and Daesh to account over every drop of blood they have spilled”.
